He married married Marian Pickering in 1950, with this marriage they had 4 daughters, later divorced. He married Georgia Pollock Winsor in 1974.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Mae Congdon and Mae's twin brother, Kathryn Schooley and one daughter, Shelly Renee Taylor-Smith.
He is survived by his wife of the home, Georgia, 3 daughters, Debbie Price & Kimmy Thornberry (Kevin) all of Baxter Springs and Becky Price (Kenny) of Five Mile, Oklahoma, 5 grandkids, Todd Price, Tad Price wife, Stephanie, Tonya Maryman husband Jamie, Tanya Timi & Kren Kinnaird, 15 great grandkids & 6 great great grandkids. Numerous nieces and nephews, who all called him Uncle Son.
He absolutely loved playing golf and telling a good joke. He was a member at the Baxter Country Club for over 45 years.
