Born to Hewitt Gordon (1827–1862) & Sarah Ann Wilson Gordon (1832–1851). Because both of her parents died young, Chlorinda was adopted by Lee Wilson (1808-1890; Memorial# 69065166) & Rebecca Hill Wilson (1805-1892; Memorial# 69065159) between 1850 and 1860 in Amite County, MS. Lee & Rebecca married on Aug. 28, 1827, in Amite County and had no children of their own. Chlorinda's parents, the Gordons, and adoptive parents, the Wilsons, are buried in a small cemetery with Chlorinda's sister, Sarah Gordon, who died young.

Chlorinda married Sherrod Richard Quin (1847–1928) on Oct. 21, 1869, in Amite County, MS.

Seven children:
• Hewitt Lee Quin (1870–1923)
• Hillery Amzy Quin (1872–1951)
• Mary Helen Quin Kennedy (1874–1936)
• Peter Arthur Quin, Sr. (1876–1940)
• Annie Quin Fletcher (1878–1953)
• Sherrod Gordon Quin (1881–1945)
• Willie Thomas Quin (1883–1979)

There is another memorial for Chlora at Memorial# 115688406. Because Chlora was married at the time of her death, I find it strange that she would be buried alone at the other memorial location with neither her parents, sister or husband nearby. Not only are her relatives buried elsewhere, but Chlora is buried completely by herself at this burial site. No other people are buried here.
