Jeffery Steven "Steve" Bible departed this life on August 19, 2022. He joined his father James Bible and his son Joshua Bible in Heaven with many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nevy and Winnie Mae (Taylor) Bible and Morris and Ruth Long, as well as his mother-in-law Cleo (Leffew) Cope.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Joan (Cope) Bible; sons, James Adam (Rebecca) Bible and Bradley Steven Bible (Jessica); daughter, Traci Payne; granddaughters, Shania, April, Story, Abby, Breanna, Arionna, Cassie and especially close granddaughter, Paige Bible; grandsons, Zayden, Little James, and Daniel; mother, Helen Bible; sisters, Pam (Jerry) Malone and Tina (Marty) Worthington; nieces, Misty Bogle and Machela Worthington; nephew, Elliott Worthington; special aunts and uncles, Bill and Cindy Helton, and James and Carol Long.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Wednesday, August 24, 2022, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 8 PM with Reverends Jerry Malone and Sam Youngblood officiating. Interment will be 11 AM, Thursday, August 25, in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
