Betty enjoyed gardening, canning, making Chicken Booyah, great fish fry's after a family fishing trip and of course her famous Applesauce Cake. She also loved to go on cruises with her daughter Gladys totaling almost 28 in all. Betty true joy was being with family and friends, telling stories and making memories. She will always be remembered as a selfless person always giving and helping others. She will be missed.
She is survived by her two children, Gladys Berkley, Florida and Daniel Gierczak, Green Bay; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great, great grandson; daughter-in-law, Kathy Gierczak, Green Bay; brother-in-law, Don (Rosy) Gierczak, Green Bay; sister-in-law, Tess Velasco, California.
Betty was preceded in death by two sons, James and Freddie Gierczak; son-in-law, Robert Berkley and recently her granddaughter, Tina Mc Carey; two brothers, Robert (Ellie) and Gordy (Tea) Kellner and many loving sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 10:00-11:00 am Saturday, August 27. Memorial Service 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Julie Wrubbel-Lange officiating. Entombment at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of floral expressions a memorial fund has been established in Betty's name.
