Backman Family Line
My G-Grandfather - we share the same birthdate.
Gustav travelled between Sweden and the US several times. His last daughter was born in the US, but because my Great Grandmother was ill and unhappy, they went back to Sweden.
The last time that my G-Grandfather came back to the US to work, he had my Grandfather, Gustav Ferdinand Backman with him. When it came time to go back to Sweden, my Grandfather decided to go to Canada instead. The Father and son had a picture taken and on the back of my G-Grandfather's photo was the note that when translated from Swedish said:
"As a memory of your father if we will not meet again".
And they never did meet again.
