His passions were spending time with family and friends and spending time at their camp in Vermont. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Alice L. (Bullock) Cusick in 2015, by his daughter, Sally A. Sullivan, in 2003. He was also predeceased by his brother, William Cusick, and by his sisters, Irene Whitely, Barbara Kitchens, and Dorothy Philips. He leaves his children, Sandra J. Clifford, of South Yarmouth, and John J. Cusick, and his wife, Eileen, of Springfield, and his eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be planned on Cape Cod in 2020. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to: AstraZeneca Hope Lodge, 125 S. Huntington Ave. Boston, MA 02130 (American Cancer Society organization).
