Passed away August 17, 2022, in Davenport, WA her home was the Harrington area. Fay was born on February 23, 1945 in Ritzville, WA to Howard and Selma Telecky. She grew up in Ritzville and graduated from Ritzville High School in 1963. She attended Eastern Washington University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work in 1968.

Fay married Roger Lybecker of Harrington, WA on Oct. 12, 1968 at Fairchild Air Force Base. They moved to Texas shortly after getting married and were stationed at various other bases while Roger was serving in the Air Force. They returned to the Harrington area in 1972 and took over the family farm.

Fay worked for several years at the Harrington School District as an aide. She also took great pride in being a dedicated homemaker and farm assistant to Roger. She enjoyed hobbies like gardening, sewing and cooking.

Fay is survived by her husband Roger, one daughter Kimberly, her sister Sara Collison and several nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister Gail Bafus.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Strate Funeral Home, 505 10th St. Davenport WA.
