Our beloved father, Arthur Lane Brown, entered God's Kingdom on Saturday August 20th, 2022. Art was a decorated veteran who served in the Vietnam war as a Military Police Officer.

After returning home, Arthur met Pamela Shegitz. They immediately fell in love and went on to be married for many years. Arthur and Pamela chose to settle in Farmington Hills, MI where they had their beloved son Kristopher Layne Brown.

Art was a loving father, and a brave and honorable soldier. He was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. He was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. He loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible.

One of Art's biggest joys was spending time with his son, Krist. Whether it was a fishing trip up North, weekly trip to Cracker Barrel, or just tinkering around in the garage, those times were extremely special to Art. He was so proud of all Krist's accomplishments in life and made it very apparent to Krist or anyone else who would listen. He was our biggest cheerleader and our constant supporter. Anyone who knew Art, knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.

Art joins his wife, Pamela, and parents Arthur and Bunnie in Heaven. He is survived by his son Kristopher (Carolyn) and his two siblings Beverly and Patricia (Harry).

We mourn the loss of our father and encourage all who knew him to remember the beauty he brought to this world.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on September 2nd at Lynch & Sons in Brighton, MI.
"See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared."
