Clara was a member of New Life Baptist Church. She loved old timey gospel music and sang alongside her husband for many years. One of her favorite activities was camping and singing around a campfire.
She was retired from the textile industry but continued to be active in her church
until her later years. Sunday school children loved Ms. Clara and would greet her with smiles and hugs when she came into the room. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Home Indian Trail.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at
Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe.
Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Hank Parker Jr.
The committal service will be officiated by Rev. Billy Clevenger.
