Sara (Berman) Stahler, a longtime resident of Chelsea, entered into rest on March 12, 2008 at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home. She was 95 years old.
Born in Chelsea, the daughter of the late Hyman & Lena (Brown) Berman, Sara was raised & educated in Chelsea where she graduated from Chelsea High School.
Sara worked for many years as a medical secretary in the office of her brother, Dr. Berman, in Chelsea. She spent the majority of her life in Chelsea with the exception of 15 years spent in Saugus. Sara was a former member of Temple Emmanuel of Chelsea & enjoyed ironing & playing mah jong. She will be remembered by her family as the "Worlds Greatest Worrier".
She is survived by her son, Robert Stahler & his wife Dotti of North Woodstock, N.H.; her grandchildren, Scott Stahler & Lori Keim; & her great-grandchild, Ellery.
Sara was the mother-in-law of the late Marcia Stahler (216679575) & the sister of the late Beattie Saxe, Irving Berman, & Archie Berman.
Graveside funeral services held on Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Tifereth Israel of Revere Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett.
