Michael S. Ceganick, 66, of Forestville, Cass Township, passed away on Friday at home.

Born on Oct. 5, 1955, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Mary (Bruso) Ceganick and Samuel Ceganick Sr., Forestville.

He was a 1973 graduate of Minersville High School. He owned and operated the Ceganick Machine Shop, Forestville, where he developed a strong reputation building engines for several regional racing teams.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Schilbe, in 2005.

In addition to his father, Mike is survived by his life partner, Debra Stoudt; Deb's daughter, Angela Boyer (spouse, Scott), Williamsport; Deb's grandchildren, Ryan Fischer and Nicole Adams; his brother, Samuel Ceganick Jr., Forestville; three nieces, Dana and Nina Ralston, Lauren Orlosky.

The family will accept visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Thursday from 6 p.m., with services at 7:30 p.m. Visit www.dutcavich.com.
