HELEN SUE DeBERRY, 69, of Duncan, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, in Duncan.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rush Springs Cemetery, with Maj. Larry DeBerry officiating. Services are under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

HELEN SUE DeBERRY, 69, Duncan, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, in Duncan. Graveside memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rush Springs Cemetery, with Maj. Larry DeBerry officiating. Services are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.
Helen was born Monday, April 4, 1938, in Clifton, Tenn., to Frank and Ora Devers Stricklin. She graduated high school from Clifton. She lived in California before moving to Rush Springs 23 years ago.
Helen married Bobby Sam DeBerry on July 1, 1956, in Corinth, Miss. He preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1990.
Helen retired after 30 years working for Wheels as their secretary. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, crafts and cooking.
Survivors include two sons, Michael David DeBerry and wife Betty of Corona, Calif., William R. DeBerry and wife Cindy of Duncan; two daughters, Teresa Stringfellow and husband Robert, and Patricia Ragan and husband Paul, all of Rush Springs; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother, Tommy Stricklin and wife Carolyn of Clifton, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a granddaughter, Cara; two great-grandchildren, Paije Sherlin and Michael David DeBerry; and her parents.
