Mrs. Dorothy C. "Dottie" Fasick age 86 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday January 30, 2008 at 3:20 PM at her residence.

She was born October 3, 1921 in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late William & Alma (Hoover) Curtner Sr.

Dorothy enjoyed the roll of homemaker and was a loving wife and mother to husband and family. Throughout Dorothy's' lifetime, she served her church faithfully, and so loved her church family. She was active in retail clothing business during their stay in the St. Louis area. She loved hospital gift shop volunteering while residing in Maryland, Connecticut, and also in Greenville including the Brethren Retirement Community. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greenville, Ohio.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; Brother: Denver Curtner; Father in law & mother in law: Ray & Clara Fasick; Brother in law: James Campbell; Sister in law: Ruth Curtner.

Dorothy is survived by her husband; Ralph W. Fasick of Greenville whom she married January 4, 1941; Daughters & Son in law: D. DaOnne Chenault of Granite City, Ill., JoAnne & George Brink of Dahlonega, Ga.; Son & Daughter in law: Steve R. & Kathy Fasick of Decatur, Ill.; 8 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; Sisters & Brother in law: Wanda (Curtner) Campbell of Greenville, Ohio, Edith (Curtner) & Charles Prether of Greenville, Ohio; Brothers: William Curtner Jr. & Lloyd Curtner of Greenville, Ohio; Brother in law & wife: Howard & Janet Fasick of Greenville, Ohio; Sister in law: Polly Curtner of Greenville, Ohio; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday February 5, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church 114 East 4th Street Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Dr. John Person and Rev. Chris Benek officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday February 4, 2008 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio and 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice or First Presbyterian Church
