Georgia Beatrice Lawson, 86, of Spiro died Wednesday, March 20, 1991 in the Pocola Nursing Home.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Lone Elm Baptist Church.

She was born Sept. 20, 1904 in Gilkey, Ark.

She was married to George Alexander Lawson, July 26, 1934 in Stigler, Okla.

Funeral was Saturday, March 23, at 2 p.m. At the Eastside Full Gospel with Rev. Charles Moss and Joe Pierce officiating. Burial was at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, George; three daughters, Lois Wall of Eloy, Ariz., Joyce Stowe of Brownfield, TX, and Hattie Andrews Tyler of Spiro; two sons, Sonny Lawson of McAlester Okla., and Omer Lawson of Shady Point Okla.; two sisters, Jeanie Baxter of Spiro and Bertha Mendenhall of Tulsa, Okla., Half sister, Mable Hann of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, Jess Mendenhall, 35 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
