William Giles, of Amelia County, Virginia left a will dated 28 Feb 1793, with a codicil dated 31 Aug 1794, and was probated 25 Sep 1794 in Amelia County (Amelia County, Virginia Wills with Inventories & Accounts 1793-1799, pages 107-109). The will names his wife, Ann; son, William B. Giles; and daughters: Elizabeth (Giles) Booker, Mary (Giles) Jones, Amey (Giles) Moseley, and Patty Giles. His son, William Branch Giles, served as executor. A copy of the will is attached to this memorial.
