Myra J. Aaberg Services for Myra J. Aaberg, 67, Rapid City, will be Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Bible Fellowship Church here with the Rev. Dick Nickel officiating.

She died Monday at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

A memorial has been established to the church.

She was born Feb. 25, 1924, in Marysville, Kan., to Emmett and Nellie (Preston) Looman. She graduated from Custer High School in 1940, and she graduated from registered nurse training at Kansas City General Hospital in 1942.

She married Bertin Aaberg in November 1959 in Hot Springs.

They ranched in the Hot Springs area and lived in Colorado and Lead before returning to Hot Springs in 1969.

Mrs. Aaberg worked at the Hot Springs Clinic and Hospital and at the State Veterans Home, from which she retired in 1978.

She belonged to Bible Fellowship Church in Rapid City, the Awana Club and Calvary Baptist Church in Hot Springs.

Survivors include two daughters; two grandchildren; two stepchildren; five step grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a stepson and by her husband in 1969.

Arrangements are under direction of Behrens Mortuary.
