He was born Oct. 24, 1948, to Elmo and Verna (Hurst) Branson in Washington.
Ralph had served his country with the United States Air Force. He was a member of First Baptist Church and had been an over the road truck driver for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo and Verna; sister, Barbara Diebal; and niece, Dawn Pohlmann.
He is survived by his sisters, Joyce Scheel and husband Leland of Owensville and Sharon Pohlmann of Rhineland; brother-in-law, Don Diebal of Hermann; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
A graveside services will be held Monday, Sept. 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
