Edwin N. Krause Jr., 79, of Porterfield, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2022. He was born on March 14, 1943 in Green Bay, WI. to the late Edwin and Cecilia (Sinclair) Krause Sr.
He was united in marriage to Patricia Wiedemeier on December 5, 1964 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Pound. She preceded him in death in 2015.
Edwin was an avid gardener and enjoyed camping, going to 4H dog shows, and spending time with his family. He worked for Veriha Trucking and Graetz manufacturing in Pound. He also assisted at local farms helping neighbor's milk cows and working on machinery.
Survivors include two daughters: Lynn Krause (Jerry Adams) and Tammy Krause;
three grandchildren: Brandy, Danny (Brenton), Amber (Jake);
5 sisters: Mary, Carol, Marlene, Janet, Sandy,
1 brother Jeff.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patricia;
siblings: Jean, Alice, Susie, Peter, Dick, and Kenny.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home 235 E. Main St. Coleman, WI. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 P.M. with Father Felix Abano officiating. Edwin will be laid to rest at St. Leo's Cemetery in Pound, WI.
