"Lester G. Auberlin, World War I Vet — Services for Lester G. Auberlin, secretary of World Medical Relief, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 5930 Woodward. Mr. Auberlin, 80, died Thursday in Carmel Hall. A native of Detroit, he was a veteran of World War I. He was retired executive secretary and a charter member of the Detroit Rotary Club. Surviving are his wife, Irene; two daughters, Mrs. J.R. Yankee and Mrs. Keith M. Gardner; a son, John R.; a sister, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Mclnnes-Desmond Funeral Home, 16111 Woodward, Highland Park. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Tributes may be made to World Medical Relief."

Gravesite Details
Per Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Lester's remains were removed to Oakview Cemetery on Oct 9, 1975. Oakview confirmed he's buried there (beside his wife, Irene) in one of their 2 Salvation Army sections, but didn't know which. Check at office for map.
