Eugene was the son of Harry W. & Gertrude E. (Latham) Robinson & he grew up in the village of Ostrander, Scioto Township, Delaware County, OH. On July 23, 1936, Eugene was married to Margaret Swope. Eugene inherited a combination furniture store & funeral parlor business begun by his father in the village of Ostrander. This business later became Robinson's Funeral Home and was moved to the nearby city of Delaware, OH.
