Age 73, of Jackson Street, died in Wyoming County Community Hospital. A lifetime area resident, Mr. Scott was a 1933 graduate of the Warsaw High School. Employed 37 years as a tinsmith and foreman at the Lapp Insulator Co. in LeRoy. Member of the Olive Branch Masonic Lodge 39 in LeRoy and was a member and secretary for the Warsaw Cemetery Association. Active in the Civilian Conservation Corps Reunion Association and served with the C.C.C. in Letchworth State Park during the depression.
He was predeceased by his parents and his daughter, Janet Ellen Davies, who died in 1983.
Survivors include, his wife, Harriett Mae Pinkney Scott; 3 daughters, Carol Taft of Ontario, New York, Laurel McNeil of Batavia and Nancy Byrnes of Mascatine, Iowa and 3 brothers, Gordon Merrill Scott and Floyd Aaron Scott of Perry, New York and Zane Grey Scott of Friendship, New York, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
