Age 85, son of the late John J. and Margaret Sabol Kozak. John was a graduate of Sacred Heart, Cathedral Prep Corps of '54, and Gannon University. He served in the PA National Guard from 1956-61. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church for 63 years. John was employed at Kaiser Aluminum for 42 years. He enjoyed many years of cruises and travel with close friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dolores Ebner, and several aunts, and uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his wife, Karen E. Malmberg Kozak; three children, Mark Kozak, wife Kim, of Greenville, S.C., Kerry Niederriter, husband Charles, of Renfrew, Pa., and Kriste Chrzanowski, husband John, of Indianapolis, Ind.; seven wonderful grandchildren, Kristofer Kozak, wife Lauren, Dr. Evelyn Eakin, husband Chris, Andrew Niederriter, Zachary Kozak, Hailey Chrzanowski, Mary Kate Scott, husband Jacob, and Anna Chrzanowski; five beautiful great-grandchildren, Savannah, and Sydney Kate Kozak, and Bryson, Carter, and Rowan Eakin; sister-in-law, Marilyn Malmberg Hasheian; brother-in-law, Bob Malmberg, wife Lois; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
