Joy Brinkman, 71, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022. She was born July 7, 1951 in Sumpter, South Carolina.
She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Franklyn and Rosemary Brinkman (Williams); and her husband, Billy Hugh Montgomery.
She is survived by her son, Jake Brinkman Montgomery; her siblings, Tom Brinkman of Wyoming, Bill Brinkman (Carol) of Pensacola, and Mary Margaret Halverson (Jeff) of Waterloo, Iowa; and her nieces and nephews, Blair Halverson (Kelly), Adam Halverson (Andrea), Jenna Scheider (John), Matt Brinkman and Allysen Brinkman. She is also survived by her family and friends.
Joy was a talented artist and taught art in several Pensacola elementary schools.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 21st 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Bayview Memorial Gardens.
