On August 26, 1956, Alice marrie William A. Medley in Goodland, IN. They were blessed with four children: Randy, Sandy, Jeffrey and Jamie. Alice enjoyed supporting her children in all their endeavors: whether it be Tri-County sports, Tri-County Band, 4-H and queen pageants, and the Purdue Dance team. Alice was also a member of the Psi Iota Xi sorority and member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Goodland for years. As an avid Purdue fan, Alice enjoyed attending Purdue Basketball games and cheering for her Boilermakers. She cherished time with family and her closest friends and enjoyed spending the winters in their Florida home.
In addition to being a loving mother and great friend, her most cherished title was "NaNa" to her grandchildren. Together with Bill, they supported and cheered for their granddaughters in 4-H, showing livestock, playing soccer and in all aspects of their lives. Alice loved to tell her friends about her granddaughters' latest adventures and was always ready to show pictures to anyone willing to stop and look.
She is preceded in death by: Chapman and Minnie Dalton (parents), Virgil, Curtis, Jim, Bill and David Dalton (brothers), Marge Hanna and Barbara King (sisters) and Randy Medley (son) and Caleb Duncan (step -grandson).
