Veronica J. Barnfield, age 93 passed away on on September 6, 2022 at her home surrounded by her children at her bedside. Born in Bethany, IL on 12-10-1928 and grew up in Decatur, IL.
Ronnie met and married Harold E. Barnfield and had 8 children. She moved to Brick in 1961 before moving to Leisure Village, Lakewood in 2019. Ronnie was a loving wife to Harold who passed in 1983 and the loving mother of 8 children ,18 grandchildren and great Gram to 16.
She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Laurelton from the 1960's to present Ronnie where she served in many capacities. Ronnie was humble and strong, independent yet outgoing. She lived a godly life, caring and working hard for her family and church alone since 1983. Loved By all for her compassion and strength Ronnie will live on in all our hearts.
Veronica is survived by her brother Kerwin Heiland in Riverside, FL. All 8 of her children; Glenn C. & Evelyn Buttiglieri of Brick, Cheryl & Raymond Liss of Brick, Deborah & Frank Kasyan of Point Pleasant Boro, D. Michael & Leslie of Poketello, Idaho, L. Mitchel & Kine of Upsala, Sweden, K. Sue & John Murtagh of Brick, A. Scott & Nancy of Brick, Dale & Heather of Tom's River. As well as 18 grandchildren & 16 great-grand children.
