TUCKER
Anna Blacketer Tucker, 76, widow of
Jack B. Tucker, Georgetown,
died Tuesday evening at the St. Joseph Hospital,
Lexington after a brief illness. She was a native
of Stillwater, MN., daughter of Samuel and
Henerietta Jeffries Blacketer, a retired nurse
and a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors are a daughter; Mrs. Joe Todd
(Anne) Hall; a granddaughter Jacklyne Anne
Hall; a sister , Mary L. Hawkins, all of Georgetown;
a brother Hamilton Greenup, Eustis, FL.,; A sister-in-law,
Mrs. Paul Blacketer, Lexington; a neice; 5 nephews.
Graveside services 11:00 a.m. Friday in the
Georgetown Cemetery. Rev. James McLean officiating.
Bearers will be Jim and Sam Hawkins, Bob Mills,
Richard Jacobs, Charlie Sutton, Frank Penn,
Kenneth Kimble, Paul Blacketer, Joe R. Johnson, III,
Edward H. Oldham. Honorary bearers will be Earl Graves,
Billy Weisenberger, Henry W. Hall, Warren Featherston,
Mike England, Buford McIntosh. There will be no visitation.
Friends may call at the residence from 4-9 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the Jr. Choir of the First Christian
Church. Tucker-Yocum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
