ROBERT ARTHUR, born 12-09-55, passed away suddenly on 7-7-12. He was born and raised in Miami, a sixth generation Floridian, graduating from Miami Palmetto High School '74 and Georgia Southwestern University in '80, where he starred in baseball. Bob's love of baseball started when he served as a batboy in the Khoury League. This love of baseball led to playing all through high school and college and to his natural progression of a career of 32 years as a Physical Education teacher. Although he umpired baseball and softball in his spare time his real love was to spend time with his children camping, boating, and hiking in the outdoors he loved. He taught them stargazing, fishing and the proper way to tailgate for all of his favorite teams. He is survived by his children, his grandchildren. Also his mother, Ruth Fenner Braddock and his father, G. Holmes Braddock, his brothers, as well as nieces and nephews, countless friends and co-workers. Being of a humorous and gregarious nature he was loved by many and endeared himself to all. A Celebration Service will be held at Old Cutler Presbyterian Church, July 14, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a charity of your choice. View this Guest Book at www.
