PERCY HEALEY OBITUARY

HEALEY, Percy Alexander ""Bud"" entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Saturday, July 6, 2019. He was the loving husband of Rosemary. Predeceased by his wife Yvonne (1994). Loving father of Laura (John), Linda and late Jeff (Cristie). Predeceased by his parents, Harley and Pearl. Beloved brother of Marjory and twin brother Bob. Predeceased by his siblings, Reginald, Stanley, Mildred, Dorothy, Lucille, Belva and Mary. Loving step-father to Denise (Henry). Cherished grandfather to Rachel, Theo and Derek, step-grandfather to Adam and Kristy, step-great grandfather to Evan, Austin, Ainsley and Grayson. Bud will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bud was a proud Etobicoke firefighter for 30 years. He will be remembered as a true gentleman, smart, kind, generous, had a strong work ethic, compassionate and soft spoken with a wonderful sense of humour. May his laughter and wisdom always ring in our ears. A private family service will take place on Thursday, July 11, 2019. Internment to take place at Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Bud's life at Celebrations Centre, 35 Lindsay Street, North Lindsay, on Saturday July 20, 2019 from 12:00 noon till 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers and for those wishing, memorial donations to the CNIB Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
