Roy Clayton Edde
Mr. Roy Clayton Edde, 83, of Verona, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, at his residence.

Mr. Edde was a native of Moore County. He served in the Army in Europe during World War II, and was retired as a supervisor from Faber-Castell. He was a member of the Farmington Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Dalton and Charlotte Metcalf Edde.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris Jean Uselton Edde of Verona; daughter, Bonnie Carol (David) Phillips, and two sons, Ronnie (Marvine) Edde and Phillip Dwayne (Connie) Edde, all of Lewisburg; two sisters, Mary Hollingsworth of Lewisburg and Ruth (Tony) Hargrove of Cornersville; two brothers, William Earl Edde and James Robert (Linda) Edde, both of Pulaski; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will be at London Funeral Home for visitation on Wednesday, Jan 23, until funeral services start at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Corey Barnette will officiate and burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Allen Phillips, Bobby Edde, Brian Edde, Tim Crumley, Mike Hartley, and Scott Bondurant.
