Aloysius Jacob Niemier, 81, of Milwaukee, formerly of South Bend, died at 4AM Tuesday in Marian Catholic Home, Milwaukee. Mr Niemier was a former employee of the Studebaker Corp and retired from South Bend Wood Parts. He was born Nov 27, 1906, in South Bend, where he lived most of his life. His first wife, Lottie Kuczwara, died in 1965. His second wife, Vera Stewart, died in 1986. He is survived by two daughters, Stella Niemier of Milwaukee and Sister Mary Jude of Strafford Brisbane, Australia; two sons, Aloysisus Jr of South Bend and Rev Roch Niemier of Chicago; a grandchild; and a sister, Ann Vargas of Akron, Ohio. Services will be held at 10:30AM Saturday in St Casimir's Catholic Church, South Bend. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call for an hour prior to services at the church. Schmidt-Bartell Funeral Home, Milwaukee, is in charge of arrangements. Mr Niemier was a member of the Studebaker male choir.
