Gravesite Details: Due to the Austrian court, she laid unburied at the Víziváros Monastery until 1803, when Joseph built the Church of St. Alexandra. In 1809 due to Napoleon's invasion her remains were moved to Buda Castle as a precaution. Once the war was over, she was returned to the Church of St. Alexandra. In 1981 the Church of St. Alexandra was raided by thieves who profaned the burial site. After this, her remains were transferred yet again to Buda Castle where she remained until 2004. During the Fall of 2004 she was returned to the Church of St. Alexandra thanks to the efforts of Russian and Üröm citizens.
