He graduated from Wareham High School, and took classes at Cape Cod Community College. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard as an SFC /E7 from 1953 to his retirement in 1995. He served as a Firefighter for the Onset Fire Department from 1953 to his retirement in 2007. He also worked as a radio and TV master technician for Eggers Furniture Store in Middleboro, MA. He was predeceased by his parents; younger brothers, Bruce W "Buddy" Crocker of Onset, MA, and Glenn E Crocker of Lowell MA; and great niece, Samantha L Gallagher Brown of Royalston, MA. Surviving are his younger sister, Patricia L Crocker of Wareham MA; sister, Janice A (Crocker) Draper and her husband, James L Draper of Royalston, MA; and brother, Gene M Crocker and his wife, Linda R (Bosworth) Crocker of Onset, MA.
