Joy A. (Jagodinsky) Vaness, age 58, a Two Rivers resident, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Sheboygan Falls, with her daughter Brandi by her side. She was born October 5, 1963 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Joseph and Joyce (Kaiser) Jagodinsky. Joy attended Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. She held various jobs over the years, including nannying and dancing. Joy loved going to the beach, especially in Florida, and also had a love for children and animals. She enjoyed dancing and loved Motown music and lots of other oldies. She was also a great cook. Joy was overall a very kind and loving person and a great mom. Joy is survived by her three children: Brandi Fleury (Significant other Jaron Hyland); Brady Fleury, and Blake Fleury; sister: Judith Schultz (Significant other Michael "Benny"); brother: James Jagodinsky; the father of her children: Michael Fleury; two nephews: Chris and Aaron Schultz; her friend: Tracey Terens; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Joseph; her mother: Joyce; infant son: Shaun J. Jagodinsky; infant siblings: Gail and Michael Jagodinsky; maternal grandparents: William and Evelyn Kaiser; paternal grandparents: Albert and Helen Jagodinsky; and her aunt: Pat Kaiser. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc. Joy will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Manitowoc.
