Hattie Juanita Akin
April 19, 1945 - September 16, 2022

Hattie Juanita Akin, age 77, was called home by our Lord on September 16, 2022 in Porterville CA. Juanita, born in San Pablo, spent most of her life in the Porterville area. She was an avid fisherman, loved the lake and camping near rivers. Juanita had 10 green thumbs and loved tending to plants indoors and out. She enjoyed putting puzzels together while chatting. She was known as quite the dancer. Juanita was loved and adored by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Juanita was greeted at the gates by her parents, Jack and Frances Akin, Daughter Tammy Yeley, Sisters Joyce Akin and Sandra (Akin) Moore, brother Jerry Akin, and many more loved ones gone before her.
She leaves behind the love of her life, Bob Hafley, daughters DeWanda Dennis, Sandra Lawley, and Jean Lawley, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, brothers Hugh "Bo" Akin Jr. and Paul Akin along with "too many to count nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Woodville Cemetery, Woodville, California on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Celebration of Life to follow @ Del Largo Park in Tulare.
