He was born Sept. 1, 1926 in Greensburg, the son of Otto "Ott" and Freda Logan Robbins. He was an anodize operator for Aluminum Finishing Co., Indianapolis, and retired in 1987 after 35 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
on Sept. 18, 1959, he married Stella Mae Carrender and she preceded him in death Oct. 29, 1969. On Dec. 11, 1970 he married Nancy Ann Hardgraves, and she survives, Indianapolis; four sons, William Paul, Perry Michael and Joey Lee Robbins, and Donald Joe Davis, all of Indianapolis; six daughters, Connie Stalker, Valrie A. Dalton, Cathy Irene Posey and Tina Louise Kiskaden, all four of Indianapolis, Diana Mae Miller, Dickson, Tenn., and Bonnie L. Wassenhove, Mishawaka, Ind.; two brothers, Gerald Robbins, Indianapolis and David Robbins, Clarksburg, Ind.; three sisters, Helen Martin and Lucille Lennon, both of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mary Ann Wilson, Milroy, Ind.; and 19 grandchildren.
One son and two brothers preceded him in death.
The services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Carmony-Ewing Harrison St. Funeral Home, Shelbyville, Ind., with the Rev. Robin Perkins officiating.
Burial will be in South Park Cemetery, Greensburg.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Memorials may go to the American Heart Association.
