June 17, 1933 - September 2, 2022

Eugene "Gene" Nicholas Nocchi, 89, passed away into eternal life September 2, 2022. Gene was born in Drifton Pennsylvania, the Pocono Mountain Region, on June 17, 1933 to Nicholas Edmund Nocchi and Matilda Waskevich.

Gene served in the U.S. Army in Korea where he met and later married Jung Soon "Regina", his eternal sweetheart, who passed away into eternal life on October 24, 2017. Together they raised seven children.

After serving seven years in the U.S. Army, Gene continued his education at Kings College, Wilkes Barre, PA completing his Bachelors Degree in Accounting. In the early 1960's he relocated his family to Highland California after accepting a job with the Franchise Tax Board. He later opened his own tax and accounting business, which he continued to successfully operate for approximately 60 years until the age of 88. He was a man of few words but strong convictions.
