Coming as a distinct shock to her many friends is the announcement of the death of Mrs. Leah W. Kerr, widow of the late Ira Kerr, which occurred at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rigby of Sharon, Saturday night after a three weeks' illness. Mrs. Kerr was born in New Castle, February 12, 1883 and went to Sharon with her parents 13 years ago. She was a young woman who endeared herself to a host of friends by her charming manner and sunny dispoition and news of her death will occasion much regret. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal church of that city. Her husband died about two years ago and she is survived by one son, John J., her parents and three brothers, Albert, Clarence and Raymond Rigby.
