Jerry is survived by his 3 brothers, Gary (PeTra) of Germany, Lonnie (Dannie) of Chatom, AL and John W Loper of Mobile, AL. Jerry was recently divorced (July 2022) from his wife, Pam, of 32 years.
Jerry graduated from Vigor High School (1965) in Mobile, AL. Jerry worked at Anheuser Busch in Merrimack, NH as an Industrial Mechanic for most of his career until an industrial accident ended his career in January 1990.
He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War era aboard the naval destroyer William C Lawe (DD-763).
Over his lifetime he lived in Alabama, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Florida, Georgia and Texas and leaves behind friends and/or fishin buddies in all of those places. He loved fishing and golf.
Jerry is survived by 2 sons, Jeremy of Florida and Jason, with whom he lived from 2020 until the time of his death. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
His ashes will be interred on Friday, November 18th at 10am in Bay Pines National Cemetery in St Petersburg, FL.
