George Washington Epler was born in Marion, Marion, Ohio in Aug 1832. He was the son and eldest of three children of Peter and Elizabeth (Uncapher) Epler. He married (1) Ellen by 1860. She who was born about 1832 in Ireland and died in 1873 in Eureka, CA. He married (2) Mary Helen Leland, 13 Jul 1876. They had a daughter, Ruby, born 16 Jun 1877 in Salem Oregon. Ruby married Louis Pacquini in 1907 and she died 19 May 1962 in Napa, California. George married (3) Mary (Basey) Brock Drake in 1897. Mary died in 1913.

He leaves a wife, one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Pasquinni, of California, and two stepsons, Norman Brock of Marion, and Edward Brock of West Salem. Funeral services will be conducted from the residence tomorrow, Wednesday, at 12:30 Interment in Marion cemetery.
