Icia M. Shewmon, 74, of 405 East St., Gordon, passed away last Thursday evening at Grandview hospital, Dayton, of a sudden illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice in 1957 and a sister, Betty Priser, July of this year.

Mrs. Shewmon is survived by one sister, Mrs. Jean Bryant of Kentucky; three brothers, James Crowe of Lewisburg, Dewitt Crowe of New Lebanon, and Ohmer Lee Crowe of Camden, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held Aug. 22 at Kramer & Moeller funeral home with Rev. Don Kochersperger officiating. Interment was in Roselawn cemetery.
