Eileen graduated from Valders High School in 1945. She was an Executive Assistant for 14 years. After their children were born, she dedicated herself to being a devoted wife and mother. Eileen was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, and playing golf and bridge with her friends. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Merlin and visiting most of the 50 states, Mexico, Argentina, and many countries in Europe.
Eileen's greatest joy in life was her family. Those who will miss her dearly are her three children, a son and daughter-in-law: Doug and Mayra Krueger, Ashburn, VA; two daughters and sons-in-law: Sue and Dan Thome, Appleton; Kathy and Fabian Carbonell, Wilmette, IL; eight grandchildren: Brian and Michael Thome; Sam, Abby, Ellie, and Grace Krueger; Nicole and Sofia Carbonell: one sister-in-law Carol Krueger.
She was preceded in death by a sister; Ethel Mae Alpert and two brothers; Lyle Valleskey and Lawrence Valleskey; four sisters-in-law Ora Mae Valleskey, Judith Valleskey, Beatrice Krueger, and Doris Krueger; and three brothers-in-law Victor, Harlan, and Marne Krueger.
Services will be held at a later date. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Manitowoc. Memorials may be directed to Faith Lutheran Church, Appleton. We love you, Mom and Dad, together again. John 14:1-3 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."
