Mrs. Anna Cox Sheppard, 67, wife of Raymond Sheppard, died at her home in Haleyville, yesterday afternoon. She had been in failing health for some time.
Mrs. Sheppard is survived by her husband; one son, Allen C. Sheppard of the Naval Hospital in Philadelphia; two brothers, Barton Cox of Newport and Wilmer Cox of Mauricetown; five sisters, Mrs. Henry Nickleson of Port Norris, Mrs. William Haley of Mauricetown, Miss Katie Cox of Mauricetown, Mrs. Theodore Petrich and Mrs. John Miskelly, both of this city; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the Laning and Richman Funeral Home in Port Norris on Thursday afternoon with interment in the Haleyville Cemetery.
