Frances Louise "Pee Wee" Layton, 69, passed away from an extended illness with her family by her side at her home in Fayetteville WV.

Born April 26, 1945 in Oak Hill, she was the daughter of Mabel G. Jinol, and the late John L. Bunch.

Mrs. Layton served as principal at Enterprise Christian Academy in Cleveland, OH and was an insurance agent for Telespectrum Worldwide in Beckley.

Frances was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother John L. Bunch Jr., half-brother Ronald L. Kincaid, and step-sister Crystal Ingram.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Harry W. Layton of Fayetteville, son Raymond Ratliff of Cleveland OH, daughter Lisa R. Payne (John) of Snellville, GA, step-daughter Melissa Carter (Stacey) and adopted son Zingle Boggus (Ellie) of Dayton, OH. Frances was a loving grandmother to Tosha McMillian (Corey), Jeffrey Layton, Brandon Layton, Johnee Beth Carter, Francesco Layton, Donte' Layton, Joshua and Melissa Boggus, as well as great-grandmother to Kennedy and Maci Carter. Also left to cherish her memory are her brother Gary W. Bunch, two half-brothers Earl Ireland Kincaid and Donald D. Kincaid, two step-brothers Jackie Hedrick and Steve Rogers, three step-sisters Carol Brown, Linda Davis, Mary E. Wall and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

At Frances's request, there will not be a funeral service, but a celebration of her life at the family home in Fayetteville. Friends and family are invited to come by the house at any time to visit. Condolences may be sent to www.highlawnfuneralhomechapel.com.
