Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. for George Fredrick Bohling, at the Ewing Funeral Home in Fontanelle.
Rev. Evan Routh of the Methodist Church officiated, Helen Bailey, organist, accompanied Mildred Pickrell and Muriel Purdy, vocalists, in the music selections. Beulah Lynch and Wilma Conley were in charge of the floral arrangements.
Casket bearers were Max Lynch, Dale Means, Lloyd Rafter, Frank Rice, Everett Conley and Andrace Petersen. Interment was in the Fontanelle cemetery with Ewing Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
George Fredrick Bohling, son of George Jurgen and Bertha Rose (Fauser) Bohling was born Apr. 11, 1913, at Fontanelle. He passed away at the Adair county Memorial Hospital in Greenfield, October 26, 1964, at the age of 51 years, 6 months and 15 days.
George graduated from the Fontanelle High school in 1932. He was baptized Oct. 24, 1918, in the Trinity M.E. Church, Chicago, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother and sister Anna.
He leaves to mourn his passing one brother Henry Bohling of Fontanelle and one sister, Mrs. Ray Brandon of Massena, also 6 nephews and one niece.
