Graveside services for one of Chelan's first pioneer, A. M. Pershall, were held Wednesday. He died Monday of a stroke. Mr. Pershall had lived in Chelan for more than 50 years.
Albert Miles Pershall was bon in Iowa in 1863. In his early years he moved with his parents to Nebraska and when he was about 18 years old he came to Washington with friends. He lived in Davenport until 1889, when he came here with M. M. Kingman.
On February 28, 1883 he was married to Bertha Blodget at Lewiston, Idaho, and to this union six children were born, all living.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha; two daughters, Mrs. Ada Weir of San Francisco and Mrs. Orel Huni of Chelan; four sons, Ival of Coer d'Alene, Clair of Caldwell, Idaho, Roy and Ralph of Bremerton; 25 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
