Robert M.Park for more than 50 years a resident of Macon county, died in the home of his son,H.G.Park, one mile south of Bearsdale, at 3:30 oclock Sunday mornng of cancer. His 90th birthday was Dec. 13.

Mr.Park was born Dec.13,1823 in Kentucky and came to Loami, Ill. with his parents when he was six yeas old. He was married in Loami to Miss Elizabeth Bowen and they moved to near Wycles about 50 years ago.He had been a farmer all his life and was identified with the Cumberland Presbyterian church. His wife died about 22 years ago. For the last two years Mr.Park has been making his home with his son.

He leaves four sons and one daugher,Allen Park of Webster City,Iowa,A.F.Park,H.G.Park and B.H.Park all of Decatur and Mrs.Alma Robinson of Monrovin,Calif. He also leave three brothers and two sisters,J.D.Park and Hugh Park of Loami,and William Park of Lincoln, Mrs.Rachel Burton of Loami and Mrs. Hepsy Short of Aberline,Kan.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 Tuesday in the Sharon church with burial in the Wycles cemetery.
