He was a lifelong dairyman and farmer in the Meeker area. He was a member of the Mammoth Baptist Church for many years and also served as a deacon. On September 16, 1919, he and Ada Maude Boland were married in Tecumseh.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, six brothers, four sisters and a son, Huston Gallaway. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, one daughter, one sister-in-law, ten grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, twenty great great grandchildren and other relative and friends.
Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home. He asked that expressions of sympathy to be made to the Mammoth Baptist Church (of Meeker building fund.
