Mrs Mittie E Arnold, 85, of Rt 3, Box 30, south Okeechobee Street passed away Friday, January 26, at the Okeechboee General Hospital. She was a lifelong member of this community and was a member of the Christian Brethren Church. She is survived by her husband William E., three sons, Robert and Harley of Okeechobee and Rufus of Sneads, Fla; one daughter, Mrs Irene Pardoe of Okeechobee; four brothers, Wes and Harley Raulerson of Okeechobee, Kentley of New Smyrna Beach and Morris of Bassinger; six sisters, Mrs Katie Chandler, Mrs Minnie Morgan, Mrs Della Sloan and Miss Nancy Raulerson all of Okeechobee, Mrs Callie Clements of Indiantown and Mrs Hattie Henderson of Valcaria; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services were at the Christian Brethren Church at 2 pm, Sunday, January 28 with the Rev Robert E Maycumber officiating. Burial was in the Basinger Cemetery. The Yates funeral Home of Okeechobee was in charge. (Re: Diane Bryan)
