David Nathaniel Hedge, 78, of Biggers, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital, in Jonesboro. David was born on Tuesday, November 2, 1943, in Biggers, to Aldon "Slim" and Ruby Louise Pearl Jackson Hedge.

David was a very loving, caring, and devoted husband, father, popa, guru, and pop pop who will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He loved bluegrass, flat picking, studying his bible, eating, and his tobacco. David was also a member of the Reyno Church of Christ and is a former minister for the Biggers and O'Kean Churches of Christ.

David is preceded in death by his loving wife, Anna; parents, "Slim" and Pearl; brother, Delmer Hedge; and sisters, Christine Poynor and Pam Harlow.

David is survived by his son, Keith (Paula) Hedge, of Middlebrook; daughters, Jacque (David) Pankey, of Biggers and Brandy Main, of Datto; special daughter and niece, Johnna (Buford) Due; grandchildren, Aaron (Christin Nutt) Hedge, Christine Hedge, Samantha (Ben) Hogard, Dalton Pankey, Zachery Main, Caleb (Elisabeth Burns) Kopp, Rose Hedge, Isaiah Hedge, and Kierce Due; great grandchildren, Elliot, Emmitt, and Etta Hogard, and Bennett and Liam Pankey; and many friends and loved ones.

David's family also wishes the staff at both St. Bernard's Medical Center and the LTAC unit at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital to know how thankful they are for all the love and compassion shown to David and the entire family. Your heartfelt comfort was sincerely appreciated.

All services will be held at the Reyno Church of Christ on Monday, October 3, 2022. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. David's funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm; Darrell Fears officiating. David will be laid to rest in the Johnston Cemetery, in Reyno.

Honored to carry David to his final earthly resting place are Aaron Hedge, Dalton Pankey, Zachery Main, Caleb Kopp, Ben Hogard, and Baxter Meeks.
