15527 Gunner H C Platt, 15th Company, Southern Division, Royal Garrison Artillery. He deployed with his company to South Africa for the Second Anglo Boer War. He died of disease at Bloemfontein on 10 May 1900. He was buried on 11 May 1900. He is also commemorated on the Royal Artillery Boer War memorial on the corner of Horse Guards Parade and the Mall, at the north-east corner of St James Park, London, England (see: https://www.warmemorialsonline.org.uk/memorial/112037).
